We started Fairvelle because buying golf equipment had become a guessing game — too much marketing, too little honesty, and a wall of clubs with no one to tell you which one suits your swing. We wanted a shop that gives you the answer, not just the catalogue.
How it started
Fairvelle grew out of a simple frustration shared by a group of club golfers: the gear that gets the loudest marketing is rarely the gear that fixes your game. We spent years testing drivers, irons and balls against each other on the range and on the course, and kept coming back to the same conclusion — fit matters more than the badge on the sole.
So we built the shop we wished existed. A tight, curated range across every part of the bag — drivers and woods, irons and wedges, putters, balls, bags, trolleys and the accessories that make a round easier — chosen for performance and matched to the player, not pushed by the season's biggest ad budget.
Every product we list, we'd happily put in our own bags. We test for forgiveness, distance you can repeat, and feel around the greens. If a club doesn't earn its place, it doesn't make the shelf.
The workshop today
Behind the shop is a small fitting workshop. We adjust loft and lie, swap shafts and flexes, and size grips so a club fits your hands and your swing. When you ask us a question, you get an answer from someone who plays — not a script.
We keep the range deliberately focused: a clear set of options in each category, priced from starter-friendly to tour-level, so you can build a bag that grows with your game without drowning in choice.
